The track is a declaration of love. 'Margarita' (Spanish) translates as "the pearl". For me, love is like a shiny pearl of water that unites with another drop (or several drops) on a leaf of a tree and then evaporates at some point or no longer wants to defy gravity, only to fall into the big wet and become one with all the water that is already there. The natural water cycle explains what happens next.
